DA-84 DANCER SPEED CONTROL
DESCRIPTION:
A precision, heavy duty, dancer speed and tension control to
provide speed and tension control of nip rolls pulling blown film webs.
The dancer speed control consists of two side plates mounting an infeed
guide roll, a dancer roll mounted on arms from a pivot shaft, and a discharge guide roll.
The pivot shaft operates against a pneumatic cylinder supplied by a precision air
regulator to provide tension control. The pivot shaft carries a flag sensed by an analog
proximity sensor to provide a 0 to 10 VDC speed control signal.
