A History of Steady Growth.

Design Service Corporation was incorporated in August 1982 to serve the styrene foam plastics packaging industry by providing specially designed, specific purpose, ancillary process equipment based on process knowledge, experience, and industry needs. Initial products included extrusion dies, extrusion blending and feeding equipment, offset printing presses, tray padding equipment and tray testing equipment. These items are still in our current product line and our equipment is built to last. We service and retrofit machines, including those that were built in the early 1980s.

The company broadened its base to include additional products, including blown film extrusion towers, top drives, chill rolls, flexographic printing presses, offset printing presses, print orientation and post gusseting equipment, line speed controls, bag making machines, C-folders and un-folders, winders, tray padding machines, and extrusion feeding and process control systems.

We have expanded into additional areas for automation projects including agriculture, lumber, food processing, aerospace, data centers, nuclear sciences, semi-conductors, medical packaging, various other manufacturing facilities, and complete SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition), as well as full systems integration.
