PAD-O-MATIC 360W: A high speed, straight line, automatic system to glue absorbent soaker pads into styrene foam packaging trays. The PAD-O-MATIC 360W was designed to operate in line with the thermoforming process in the tray production plant. The machine is mounted on castors to allow easy movement of the padding machine to the thermoforming line running the tray size to be padded. The trays are taken from the trim press packaging table and fed into the PAD-O-MATIC 360W denester or placed on the optional Tray Loading Conveyor.

PAD-O-MATIC 300MAP: A high speed, straight line, automatic system to glue ply or pouch type pads into solid sheet barrier packaging trays. The PAD-O-MATIC 300MAP is designed to operate in line with the thermoforming process in the tray production plant. The design concept is to place a right and left hand PAD-O-MATIC 300MAP downstream of the trim press to provide a complete in-line system for barrier tray padding with minimal increase in staffing.

CAMERA PAD VERIFICATION AND TRAY REJECT SYSTEM: A machine mounted camera and light system to verify the presence and position of the pad in the tray to presettable parameters. A tray without a pad, or a pad out of the predesignated position limits is automatically ejected from the product stream. There must be 3/8” between the edge of the pad (of the pouch for pouch pads) and the edge of the tray for the camera system to measure pad or pouch length and skew. For black trays, the 3/8” is from the pad, not the pouch.

BOTTOM LABELER: A servo driven label machine mounted in an extension of the padding machine to apply labels to the bottom of the trays on the flight conveyor. The labeler is mounted to apply the pads on the tray centerline with limited side to side adjustment provided by a handwheel adjustment. The machine direction placement is adjusted via the operator touch-screen. The label machine is easily removed from the padding machine for maintenance or repair. Minimum label size 1 inch wide X 2 inches long, maximum label size 2 inches wide X 4 inches long.

PAD PLACER: A conveyor mounted, servo motor driven, microprocessor controlled system to cut absorbent pads to a predetermined length from continuous rolls of padding material and place the cut pads into poultry packaging trays prepositioned on a conveyor. The PAD PLACER is designed to mount on the users conveyor with a double wall stainless steel electrical enclosure mounted separately nearby.
